Applications of Type 439 Grade Stainless Steel – AISI 439, 1.4510, UNS S43035
Stainless Steel 439 Grade sheets, plates and strips are widely used applications which required greater corrosion resistance and oxidation. 439 Stainless Steel provides good oxidation and corrosion resistance, as a result of which it is used for many automotive exhaust system components. It is used as a replacement to Stainless Steel 409 where temperatures in exhaust systems may exceed the oxidation limit of Type 409.
